Jimmy Costello is involved in many new companies, products and ideas, focusing on the areas of content, creation and innovation. He has been at the forefront of culture and business development through his involvement in many ventures and start ups.  Jimmy has conceptualised and project managed solutions for a range of small, medium and large companies over the past 15 years.

 

Stephen McCormack is a successful serial entrepreneur who has founded and managed a number of innovative Technology and Media companies. Stephen has co- founded companies such as Nebula Technologies, BITBUZZ - Ireland's largest independent Wi-Fi hotspot company, and Straywave Media, a multiplatform Entertainment Company. Straywave's brands include Irish Music Television, Wildlight Film Channel, Style Nation and Independent Asian Music TV. They work with major global brands such as MTV,Vodafone, Sony, Google and Joost.

 

Brian Fitzsimons is a digital communications professional in all senses of the word. In 2000 Brian started out his career with BT Ireland, Brian soon landed key roles working on the launch of BT Openzone Irelands largest network of WiFi hotspots then the subsequent rollout of Fixed Broadband. In 2005 Brian Joined Telefonica O2 Ireland as Wi-Fi Product Manager and part of O2's think-tank for innovation on DVB-H (Mobile TV) and HSDPA (Mobile Broadband) [ HSDPA has now become one of O2's strongest selling products]. Brian was also the Business Owner for Broadband specifically focused on bringing O2 to market with a portfolio of Fixed products.

 

Eamonn Carey is an experienced Digital Media entrepreneur. A former presenter with RTE and Newstalk, Carey will facilitate each conference – giving an overview of the day’s topics, moderating the panels and facilitating audience interaction. Eamonn co-founded Random Thoughts Media, a digital media production and consultancy company, in 2006. He is currently working on a number of mobile applications and consulting with a number of Irish and International companies.

 

 

 

Valerie Forde BBS MBS is an experienced Marketing Executive.  Valerie previously worked with the ECDL Foundation (European Computer Driving Licience), otherwise known as the International Computer Driving Licence outside of Europe.  Her main responsabilities involved the promotion of end-user computer skills certification programmes globally, and event organising within european countries.  Valerie has an MBS in International Business from Smurfit Business College.
